（Wilson， Horace Hayman; 1786～1860）英國印度學學者。本為東印度公司之醫師，西元一八○八年任職加爾各答，于其時勤修梵文，且為孟加拉亞細亞協會會長。一八三三年任牛津大學教授，致力于印度學之復興。著有： Dictionary inSanskrit and English， 1819; History of Cashmere， 1825； SelectSpecimens of the Theatre of theHindus， 1826～1827; ArianaAntiqua， 1841； History of BritishIndia from 1805 to 1835， 3vols.，1844～1848; Sanskrit Grammar ，Rigveda-sanhita^， 6 vols.， 1850～1888.
